General settings

In the General section, you can:

Indicate a project name

Choose a domain

Add a favicon

Set the time zone

Project name

Enter the desired project name in the Name field.

You can also move your project to a folder by clicking on Set folder and selecting it in the pop-up window.

Domain

In this section, you can enable or disable the publication of the project by toggling the Published switch.

You can publish your website using the Taptop subdomain or connect a custom domain.

Taptop subdomain

By default, the project is published on the Taptop subdomain (for example,https://name.taptop.site). The website is assigned an automatic name. However, you can change it.

Click the Edit button next to the Subdomain on Taptop option and enter the desired name.

Custom domain

To connect a custom domain, please select the Custom domain option. A custom domain can only be connected on a hosting plan. For more details see:

Favicon

You can upload a favicon (your favorite icon for your website tab in a browser) by clicking the Upload button and selecting the desired file on your computer. You can upload SVG, JPG, GIF, or ICO images with a maximum size of 128 by 128 pixels.

Time zone

You can set up the time zone by selecting a certain city from the drop-down list.

You can also choose to set time zone automatically depending on your current location.
