Google Maps and Yandex Maps

For the map widget to work correctly on your site, you need to add Yandex Maps or Google Maps API keys to the settings.

Google Maps API key

To generate a Google Maps API key, go to the Google Maps Platform.

To use the Google Maps Platform, you must have a project with a billing account in the Google Cloud Console. The project requires to set up the payment method. However, you will only pay if the project exceeds its quota for free services.

If you don't have a Google billing account, you will be prompted to create one. Create and link a billing account to the desired project.

Once your billing account is connected, it will be credited with $200 each month for free use of the Map Request API, which includes 28,500 map requests from your site. If this limit is reached, then it will be necessary to pay for API.

By connecting a billing account, you can generate an API key to use in your project.

Yandex Maps API key

To create a Yandex Maps API key, go to the Yandex Developer Console.

Yandex Maps API can be used free of charge if all the conditions listed in the Yandex Maps API Terms of Use are met. If at least one of the conditions is not met, you must purchase a paid API.
